CORGI COMMER

Kevin D picked up a Corgi Constuctor Set, an intriguing toy which uses a couple of Commer 3/4 ton chassis  models and a selection of interchangeable bodies to create a variety of different commercial vehicles.

The red cab is fitted with  Trans-o - lite headlamps, a clever  idea using a clear plastic rod which reflects ambient  light, giving the impression the headlights are on.

The white cab set up like a milk float. Unfortunately Kevin's set doesn't have the Milkman figure carrying a milk crate that should come with it.

In all there are four interchangeable bodies ; Milk Float with crates and Milkman; A pick-up with bench seat; Van; and Ambulance.

With the two cabs, this gives eight different combinations of chassis and body.
