STARCOPS RADIO TIMES ARTICLE

I'm getting more and more intrigued by Star Cops and it's cult status, and that maybe I should re-access my thoughts on it.

Here's an article from the Radio Times I saw on the Star Cops fan page

The Radio Times front cover that Kevin D mentioned kindly provided from his own collection.

    1. If I could find a decent scan of it I'd post it Kev. The one I saw tad small.

  2. I watched it relatively recently, after a mention on the blog- it is (or was) all on Youtube. Overall I liked it, and think it far better than Blake's 7! There is as very nice moon rover.

    1. I admit I re-watched the opening episode last night, and to be honest it didn't really change my mind about the series - there was just too much talking in offices, and the murders in space and in the lake, to my mind had very little suspense about them. The model effects didn't look bad, but hardly exciting. I'm sure the technical stuff was spot on but that's not why I'd be watching it.

    2. I have to say it grew a lot on me as it progressed. I like the characters a lot. Also, I love Chris Boucher's dislogue. As well as creating this show, he was script editor on Blake's 7.

    3. I can understand that,Kev, some series don't always appeal at the beginning. You and Andy(and quite a few other folk by all accounts ) are obviously very fond of Star Cops. I did watch the full nine episodes when it was originally shown and can't say I disliked it,but overall it's not for me.
