LIGHTLY STEPPING ACROSS THE RICE PAPER: KUNG FU AND LOOK-IN COMICS

As a kid I got Look-In magazine every week. like steak pudding 'n' chips it was one of the highlights of my juvenile schooldays.

Double delight came in the form of Look-In enthusuastically embracing the Kung Fu TV series, which shot into our telly rooms like a bright shuriken star.

My surviving collection of Look-In Kung Fu pages consists of three front and back covers, which I cut out at in the 70's from my weekly edition of the so-called Junior TV Times.

When I dug out the three pictured clippings I was really chuffed to still see the house number and street of the house I grew up in, 24 Powis [Road]. Happy Days indeed!

One day soon I'll find the Kung Fu medallion featured on the middle cover - I know I've got it stashed away somewhere. Trouble is I've moved twenty times since I lived at Number 24 in the Seventies!

Did you read Look-In readers?
