GET OUT THE ROLLS ROYCE
Although Sylvia Anderson accomplished many things during her lifetime, I imagine she'll be best remembered as the voice of Lady Penelope, and synonymous with FAB 1, Lady P's unique Rolls Royce.
While there's many different toy and model versions of this famous car, I think the 1/18 scale model made by Aimie is definitely a favourite with me. I've covered it before on the blog, but I figure another look won't do any harm.

That is a beautiful toy Scoop and really well photographed as always. I was always surprised that Rolls Royce never made a limited edition Fab 1 for real. You know, for very well-off Thunderbirds fans who actually wanted to drive one.
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely model Woodsy, and used as the FAB 1 miniature in the recent kickstarter Thunderbird 1965 episodes, which have tried to mimic the look of the original series.
