AOSHIMA ZERO X: WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE?

Woodsy posted a picture of two Aoshima Zero X boxes the other day, pointing out that the only way of telling if  you got either the Captain Scarlet or the Thunderbird version is a little red sticker showing Thunderbird 2 on the Thunderbird version box.

Well, unsurprisingly we have posted about this in the past, but here's a reminder of those differences between the actual models.

The Captain Scarlet version comes with a poster of the original box art work by Shigeru Komatsuzaki  of the large Zero X kit made by Imai in 1967.

The Thunderbird version has a little rock snake curled up on a little rock.

The Captain Scarlet MEV has 'Martian Exploration Vehicle 'on the side of it's hull, as seen in the first Captain Scarlet episode.

The Thunderbird version has a hatch on top which has a flick up machine gun , as it did in the feature film.

Finally, here's both versions side by side. The Captain Scarlet version is an ever so slightly lighter shade of blue.

    1. I never doubted that for a moment, Anonymous , but I repeat, the Aoshima Thunderbird and Captain Scarlet versions of Zero X BOTH come with a RED self adhesive sticker , which I've already mentioned. You might have missed this, but the title of the post is 'What's the difference!' .
