In my archive I have this picture from occasional contributor Bill Earle of a collection of Morinaga Thunderbirds mini models from Japan.

I have the above Zero X miniature, pictured here minus its decals, which are shown unused...
but I also have this set of Thunderbirds mini models by Yujin, which look almost the same as the Morinaga TB1,2, 3, 4 and 5 above.
So are the Morinaga and Yujin mini models almost the same and is there a Yujin Zero-X?
The second mystery is the Zero-X shown in this group shot, again from Bill Earle. I'm sure Bill said that it's a Morinaga miniature painted up! Can I have misunderstood? It looks so detailed for such a small model.
