There are old Imai/Aoshima Mighty Jack plastic kits, and I have a dubbed DVD of some of the episodes strung together that I bought from a seaside shop in Bridlington for £1.99 a few years ago. :)
Yes, definitely copying Anderson shows- although I don't think Gerry Anderson would have passed that clip near the end where the aircraft dives down, and the background clouds change angle with it!
