Its the Wheel Thing

In response to Woodsys wheel post, I had a quick trawl round my own toy archives. Prospector, because of its huge wheels has always fascinated me and ever since, ive been drawn to big wheeled toys. First up on the list of finds is my custom Bubble Car, based on the Apollo Moon Exploring series, not really balloon tyred, but quite hefty. Next, two neat Kinder Surprise toys, with good size tyres. Then on to a Tomy 8 wheeled buggy and an earlier Sears variation with a Matt Mason pilot. But chief among the big tyred ATVs must be the BHS Explorer 12 Ocean Explorer vehicle, with massive clip on flotation tyres, which enable it to travel over water. Not exactly a moon buggy, but very close indeed.
