SCRAMBLE BUG 1937



Look at this readers! Those wheels look remarkably like the Project SWORD Scramble Bug! This Popular Science cover is from March 1937, a whole thirty years before the Century 21 toy - pictured below - was made! Here's the article inside.

    Congrats Woodsy, what a find!

    Amazing how that article ended up on a toy designer's desk in those pre-internet days (perhaps there's other more recent coverage of that vehicle), but it's an exact likeness, no ifs and buts about it. Bang on the nail!
