BIRTHDAY LUCKY BAG: JAPANESE PROJECT SWORD OMAKE

One of my favourite collections are my miniature hard plastic Japanese SWORD toys. I've been collecting them for 7 years, as long as the blog's been going. They are about an inch long, if that.

In the picture the toys photographed normally are the ones I have here at Moonbase, which I laid out on a board. The toys inside the little images are taken from Japanese auction listings, as I don't have them These were the ones that got away! Collecting old 'omake' [small gifts] like this is very popular in Japan.

Some things to note are the different sized Scout 1's and Scout 2's. These may represent either different manufacturers or perhaps re-issues.

Also of note are the completely different Space Gliders to the right. These blue and red jets are not exact replicas of the SWORD Space Glider [unlike the ones of the left, which are] and have wheels unlike all the other models shown. I cannot be sure of they should be included here until I actually see one in the flesh.

Notable toys missing are the three SWORD Moons and a few others should you have any lurking in your bits and bobs drawer!

What do you think readers? Do you like them?
