And what a beauty it is. being die-cast it feels really solid and looks good too. As with a lot of Japanese toys it does have it's features.
It comes with little missiles which can be fired from the front.

Now that Will has introduced me to the TB 4, I'll be looking out for more Bandai Thunderbird die-casts.
Instant jealousy! I wish these toys were readily available in Britain.
ReplyDeleteYes, it's a shame that a lot of Japanese toys which are reasonably priced in Japan only seem to find to find there way to dealers here who like to charge the earth.
ReplyDeleteOver 20 years ago, a friend who was living in Japan sent me a Billiken Frankenstein kit. To buy and send cost less than a tenner. A year or two later I saw one in a shop in Scotland for about £40. Not the shop's fault, I suppose - more to do with import duty.

DeleteScoop, i wasn't attempting to correct you - you're right. There will be dealers who add on a hefty slice for themselves, over and above what they reasonably need to.
