One of the film industry's most charismatic and iconic figures has passed away, age 93. Veteran of Hammer films, Star Wars and LOTR, Lee was an outstanding actor and a fascinating character. Its a great loss after a long and distinguished film and acting career.
Really sad news. he was like an old friend, always there. I will watch some Hammer films to celebrate his long life. 93 is a fabulous age to reach, especially after enjoying so much success late on in his life. Long Live Saruman and Dracula lives forever!
