Its rare that I post anything Star Wars related, but the brief multi format presentation of Shadows of the Empire, a canonical episode which took place between Empire and Jedi, brought up some wonderful designs. Criminal overlord of the Black Sun, Prince Xizor flew a special ship, the Virago and Galoobs Action Fleet line produced a fabulous model of it.
Gorgeous that Bill! Looks like a mecha-Spider! And what a title that is - the Criminal Overlord of the Black Sun! Wow.
ReplyDeleteAction Fleet was great. Then Hasbro bought Galoob and that was the beginning of the end. Maybe they'll bring the line back when the new film comes out. Alternatively the recent Disney store diecast models are pretty good and accurate too.
