Saw these fabulous photographs taken by Norm Heke and Michael Hall of some of the exhibits which form part of the Gallipoli: The Scale of War exhibition at the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa.

This photo shows a much larger than life figure of Spencer Westmacott. The exhibits were created by the world famous Weta Workshop, and in the picture we see Weta's , Jacqueline Makkee applying finishing touches. (photo: Norm Heke)

This photo shows Weta's, Alistair McDougal working on the huge model of Rikihana Carkeek. (photo: Norm Heke)

A larger than life Patrick 'Friday' Hawkiins, with Weta's Marly Doyle applying  the finishing touches.(photo: Norm Heke)

A poignant large model of Colin Warden showing Weta's Joel Ahie working on it.
