Browsing the cyberswards I came across this old thread on the Mego Museum forum from 2009. It concerns Zero X and Moonbase Central even gets a mention!

The question posed is really fascinating and I'm unsure if it was satisfactorily concluded: was there a die-cast metallic green 9 inch Zero X toy in the 1970's?
Brings to mind those TF knock-offs (TF1, TF3) in metallic colours. Rare as hen's teeth, so perhaps there's even a Zero-X still to discover?
