Here's a few candid photos of the Flying Sub that comes with the Moebius Seaview I'm working on.
It's quite small and I've fitted a magnet inside so it can be easily attached inside the Flying Sub bay (Moebius do provide a hook to attach the Flying Sub but if that's used the top hatch can't be glued in place).
Lovely! I was always fascinated with crafts that came out of other crafts! The Space Pod from the Jupiter 2, the Shuttlecrafts from the Enterprise, the Flying Sub from the Seaview! Nice one Scoop.
Moebius do provide a door, but you'd have to glue it in place and display the Flying Sub separately, so to answer the question the doors will remain open on my model, eviled.
Beautiful Scoop. The Flying Sub is one of those American icons of a Sixties childhood. Like the USS Enterprise or Kojak's Torino, it as much a part of our DNA as sherbert dips and Action Man. I loved the show's intro [or was it the outro] showing the sub breaking the surface. Just fab.

Meant to ask, are the Seaview flying sub bay doors open and closeable, or will they be fixed in the open position?
