Ha ha, lovely shots Bill. What are those figures? and I reckon Ed's right. That pesky film of mist Kane falls through eh! What do think made the eggs open though? Heat? breath? Movement?
Yep ed, got it in one! Figures are Action Stars, some of which were marketed as Airfix Eagles in the late seventies. As to the eggs "theres a mist, which reacts when broken"...
Have you seen the Funko Reaction Alien figures?Theyre 3 inch size, like the Star Wars figures of the 70's (with similar packaging) .Included are Kane with exploration suit,Kane with a face hugger, and Kane with a chest Burster.
Yeah I saw those Brian in Forbidden Planet last year, Very nice too. Am I right in thinking that Kane never featured as an Action figure before the Funkos? The ALIEN suits remind me of Fisher Price Adventure People spacesuits. Are they older than ALIEN?
Adventure People predate Alien by at least a year. The crew of the Sulaco appeared as Kenner action figures in a rather 'imaginative' and totally gung ho line, but obviously, Kane was dead by then!
Ah, from my favourite Sci-Fi film ever!
ReplyDeleteAlien!
