THE NEW THUNDERBIRD 2: AN OLD JAPANESE KIT?

Just seen this old box art for a UFO Thunderbird 2 and the front end looks amazingly similar to the new TV show Thunderbirds TB2 design. What do you think?

    Striking similarity no question. Kinda like the new TB2 design nevertheless (brings Skyship One to mind as well)
