Garden Invaders

Back in the mid-eighties, when the japanese anime kit invasion began, I couldn't get enough Imai, Bandai and Nitto models. After building them, I was stuck for display space, so one summer afternoon, I took a few finished models into my ma's garden and took a few photos with my Canon Sureshot. Recently, I turned up the prints and scanned them in, touching up the scratches etc in Photoshop. Little did I know back then, it would be the start of a long love affair with cameras and toys.
