A hastily put together photo of the P.E. Supercar to put me in the mood to watch an episode. My earliest memory of watchIing TV was Supercar and here I am well over fifty years later still enjoying it.
For someone who had the opportunity to enjoy only Thunderbirds and Space: 1999 when growing up and to discover such wonderful series as Stingray and Captain Scarlet later in life, the impact has been even more that of awe and admiration. So much more of that great childhood stuff to explore!
Lovely sentiments Scoop. We grew up with Gerry and his fantastic creations, which shaped an entire generation.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't let Gerry's passing two years ago go unmarked, here on the blog , Woodsy.

ReplyDeleteIt always amazes me how Gerry and his creations have brought a lot of folk together who've remained lifelong friends.
