In response to Woodstocks query about the Hover Saucer, heres an old ebay pic of three of the toys. The header card shows all four vehicles, but the box shows a rocket too. Ive never seen anything remotely like that, so I think its just embellishment.
The lower photo is from the 'First Contact' series of pics I sent Woodsy, way back in the day and shows the battered remnants of my Lp/Hover/Blue Box collection. The blue Lunar Rover is Hover, but at that point all four wheel had snapped off and my dad had screwed them back on to a sturdy wooden base!

ReplyDeleteI get it! The "Space Adventure" has a ball in the middle. I thought it was a coloured dome. Did the ball rotate Billster do you know?
