I have a small collection of old VHS videos of Gerry Anderson films and TV shows. I love VHS and can't let go of them. I have a few different releases of these videos and will do a post on them one day. Does anyone else have an interest in old Gerry Anderson videos, VHS, Betamax or even V2000?
No VHS, but I've got some standard 8 cine film of Stingray and Fireball XL5. No projector though!
ReplyDeleteSure do Woodsy, especially as Finnish Gerry Anderson VHS releases are few and far between: A Space: 1999 Alien Attack (2 issues), an U.F.O., and a later 1990's release of Thunderbirds Are Go! Last one nothwithstanding, these were available for rental only and therefore really hard to find.
ReplyDeleteI have a (small) dozen VHS tapes of Thunderbirds from the early to mid-90s when (public) interest revived. Great to see it all again, and just in time to show it to my sons. Who had mixed feelings: they thought it all was pretty slow compared to the fare on cartoon network, but they liked the vehicles and loved the explosions. Which thankfully they haven't reproduced, unlike their dad who still has the blackened bits of Lego as a souvenir :)
