My good friend and fellow blogger Will Shwartz has told me that Toy Hunter, the fab US vintage toy TV show, has been axed in the States after just three series. It's a very bad decision. I love Toy Hunter and met the cool host, Jordan, last year. It was made for us modern vintage toy collectors and there's never been anything like it. It's certainly a major blow to collectors who appreciated the positive light that Jordan cast on our choice of hobby!
ReplyDeleteSad news indeed as I was still eagerly awaiting for the series to air in Finland. Having seen the first episode plus some clips, it will definitely be something to look forward to. Even though having wished the series to live long and prosper, I think three full seasons for a niche programme is quite admirable an achievement. Plus I am sure we will hear from Mr. Toy Hunter again.
