Small Space

Since buying my vintage rocket sharpener, I've come across a couple of nice rocket pens. The blue rocket is a Kikkerland mini biro, which came in a neat packet of three, with a cool moonscape backing card. The card came in handy for small quick dioramas, using the pen, sharpener and a couple of redundant Kinder Surprise astronauts!

  1. Lovely toys Bill and gorgeous photographs. What substrate have you used? Real regolith?

    1. Hey, that handful's been missed! Every grain is accounted for in Yarkshire! Under no circumstances must it end up in Lancasheer!

  3. Funny: 'Kikkerland' is Dutch for 'Frogland'. Didn't know frogs had rockets there!

  4. On second thoughts, my Mum's generation would refer to Holland as 'ons kikkerlandje' meaning 'our little frog-country'. Where I've never known where that expression came from, but at least it confirms these rockets as being Dutch and that we should beware of my country's frogs then!
