Since buying my vintage rocket sharpener, I've come across a couple of nice rocket pens. The blue rocket is a Kikkerland mini biro, which came in a neat packet of three, with a cool moonscape backing card. The card came in handy for small quick dioramas, using the pen, sharpener and a couple of redundant Kinder Surprise astronauts!
Lovely toys Bill and gorgeous photographs. What substrate have you used? Real regolith?
ReplyDeleteFinest yarkshire regolith, shoved a handful in my skyrocket when i was at moonbase!
ReplyDeleteHey, that handful's been missed! Every grain is accounted for in Yarkshire! Under no circumstances must it end up in Lancasheer!
DeleteFunny: 'Kikkerland' is Dutch for 'Frogland'. Didn't know frogs had rockets there!

On second thoughts, my Mum's generation would refer to Holland as 'ons kikkerlandje' meaning 'our little frog-country'. Where I've never known where that expression came from, but at least it confirms these rockets as being Dutch and that we should beware of my country's frogs then!
