Unfortunately Easter of '68 was not a happy one for us as Mom had passed away August of '67 and it was our first Easter without her. Mothers shape what we are in so many ways we often times don't realize how until so many years later. Her constant attempts to spoil me, the only surviving male child, by buying toys, would definitely impact me as a toy collector in my later years.
