I have been watching You Tube videos posted by a Japanese modeller interested in Thunderbirds. Etsuro Marata tenaciously attempts to recreate the special effects of Derek Meddings using Japanese models of the Mole, other vehicles and tons of ingenuity. In the latest video I watched he also takes time out at the end to have a well-earned glass of whisky and a few corn snacks. Priceless! Click here to watch. Check out his other videos too.
