TOY TV'S AND TELEPHONES

I used to love seeing TV screens on my childhood toys. TV was still a big deal back in the mid-Sixties, especially colour! So colour screens on robots and cars were simply cool. Two I remember so well are the plug-in telly that came with Billy Blastoff [or was it it a monitor of some sort?] and the screen showing a clown in the back of the uber-cool Lincoln Continental by Dinky. I'd love to see piccies of these screens lit up anyone? Are there any more toy TV's?

Equally fascinating were telephones in cars, which even today, despite mobile phones, I still think would be fabulously decadent if I were to see any. Back then a phone in a vehicle was so exotic it was untrue, so seeing them on toys was inevitable. I so remember the red bat-phone under the dash of the Corgi batmobile. Now that was iconic!

And I'm pretty sure the Britains Police motorbike had a phone on top of the panniers but I can't be sure. What other toy vehicles had telephones readers?
