Here in Blighty the subject of the weather (usually bad) is always on everyone's lips. As the seasons change so does the conversation.
It's becoming very autumnal here at Glenn Field. The nights are drawing in and there's a nip in the air. The leaves on the trees are just beginning to fall, and my garden's looking very tired.
I imagine that our readers in sunnier climes are still enjoying nice weather - Anybody out there want to comment on what their weather's like and cheer up a dull, cloudy Saturday over here?
Its unseasonably pleasant here at Mars Base, bit windy and I keep catching myself humming the first few bars of The Kinks, Autumn Almanac!
ReplyDeleteMuch as I appreciate your comment, Bill, considering we only live seven miles from each each other I think we can safely say our weather is much the same. ; )
ReplyDeleteShould've been below zero all October but we're still basking in very manageable 15 degrees C on daytime here in Hellsinki City. The change however is imminent, possibly right after tomorrow. So it will be tervetuloa, talvi! (bonjour l'hiver) for here.
ReplyDeleteCheers Arto
Who care's about the weather Mike when you've got such a cool Booster Rocket launch pad to play with! Now that would have been one superb SWORD accessory. I'm well jeal! ha ha!
