WELCOME BACK, BOYS

To mark Woodsy and Wote's return  from each of their separate summer furloughs, I've found a painting I did way back in 1999.



I was obviously very much inspired by Keith Watson's Vauxhall Cavalier advert , but I thought this spaceport scene seemed somehow appropriate.

    Yes, thanks muchly from me too Scoop. I've missed some fine blogs of yours whilst holidaying on the continent. Like Bill, we have enjoyed Europe's continuing heatwave and returned somewhat browner. Alas, we were greeted by torrential rain when we arrived at the Port of Hull this morning and I imagine my new tan will be washed off by the end of the week! Good ol' Blighty!

    ....and what has it to do with you pray tell Bill? I was enquiring of Scoops obvious dexterity with a paint brush and not yours! Ah yes, squabbling already! we're back!

    It's definitely not painting by numbers, Woodsy. It's a 'proper' painting using gouache. Not being particularly fond of computer art I do like to dabble with the brushes when I get the time.

    Scoop, that is a really cool picture. There's some definite diorama ideas there as well.
