Another scan of an envisioned spacecraft of the future as seen in Dan Dare's Spacebook circa 1954.
Drawn by Eagle cutaway artist Leslie Ashwell Wood, it was imagined that this kind of ship would operate between Earth, Mars and Venus in the early part of the 21st Century ferrying men and supplies to space stations orbiting each of those planets.
It looks like the front end fuselage of a B 29.
