In awe of ATVs

Dewsbury carboot gave me the chance to pick up a couple of matchbox diecast cars, an armoured riot vehicle and the classic Planet Scout in Adventure 2000 green livery. A little knocked about but good for restiration. They join the ranks of other classic ATVs!

  1. Hello Bill,
    Nice bunch of ATVs!

Which brand is the pink one? seems to be quite old (early 70s?) and I never saw it before

The green one with number "03" is definitely a majorette cast from 1969 or 1970, but it looks too "modern" to me. Is it really Majorette or some knock-off?

    Thanks for the pics!

  2. Hi juan, green majorette is originally a red Amphibie from around 1973. Pink one is Buddy L and would have had rabbit ears on the front! This is similar period and one of a series which reflected the Banana Splits. Ive got another with a british flag and have seen one decoed as a lion. The amphibie was repainted a year or so ago. Great thing about it is the wheels are solid rubber.

  4. The pink one would have had bunny ears up front and a small white bunny tail on the rear deck. There was also a tiger version that was orange with a nice long tail that easily came out :( I had them both once upon a childhood. Nice to see bits of them still around.
