Lovely images Bill. What garage is that? Hope those cars are filling up with unleaded! I have a tiny knockoff Astro 1 by Playart somewhere, who brought out loads of Hot Wheels, Rockets and Whizzwheels knockoffs. Somewhere I have a picture of them. Now where is it?
Am I wrong in thinking your pavements, canopies and such are by Majorette? I had (have) some of that to use with the 1/43 scale toy Mustangs in my collection (Dinky, Corgi and a raft of other brands) but haven't seen it in well over a decade.
These are some really cool designs. Although I wasn't a Hot Wheels fan as a kid, over the past few years I've really grown to like their stuff!
ReplyDeleteEd - whats not to like?
ReplyDeleteThe Astro Corgi Junior looks fine - same colour as the real one, although I think I like the metalic blue of it's big brother.
ReplyDeleteBig brother captures the shape better, little bro diesnt have an opening cab either

ReplyDeleteLovely shots indeed, Bill!

They are indeed Majorette Majo-Kit. I found a box on ebay last summer. Nice modular paving and accessory system
