When I spoke to David about the build he told me the main body was relativly easy - it was the wings that took the time.
A long time ago, I got as far as the main body and mev, but gave up on the wings.

I think it was a Chieftain Tank!
Outstanding model work. It would take one heck of a large diorama to properly display this bird!
I remember first reading about David Sisson and his work in Century 21 Magazine years ago and becoming an instant fan. That Zero-X model is just stunning!
The tank in the background was a Centurian.
All David's models looked great. He had all the Thunderbird machines on display as well. He does like to build them big though.
I would settle for the MEV alone. Love the Zero X, and Thunderbirds Are Go! Got TV21 written all over it ^_^
