No Strings Attached

By contrast with Scoops beautifully orchestrated TB1 shot, heres a modern Matchbox SkyBusters 'Turbo Tornado' I picked up on holiday. Although modern diecast toys are far removed in terms of design from vintage craft, you can sometimes find the odd aesthetically pleasing and sufficiently 'andersonesque' model.

The same toy with heavy photoshopping. Have to try that fishing line trick!
Also another modern pair - Hot Wheels redesign of a redline classic the Twin Mill and a neat matchbox  6 Wheel ATV.

    it was more a cop out to be honest Mike - quicker and simpler to get a shadow and heat exhaust over the sea than land!

    There is also an orange version of the HW 6 wheel ATV. I picked one up and inserted a sitting astronaut figure (after some modding). I thought it would make a nice addition to my Lunar motor pool.
