Kevin D's Dr. Who Vanir Helmet Prop

Hi folks, I have just taken possession of an original, screen-used 'Doctor Who' prop, something I've wanted to own for years. It is a Vanir helmet from the 5th Doctor story, 'Terminus'. Although looking like an Anglo-Saxon battle helmet, it was, in fact, part of anti-radiation armour worn by workers on a space station! The helmet is made of fibre-glass, with a very effective bronze-effect finish. The visor is hinged and the whole thing is in very good condition, considering it is 30 years old. The tinted lenses have gone, but they are easily repaired.I'm chuffed with it!
take care,
Kevin D

  1. Congrats kevin! Screen props are fun to collect having a few myself - but none are sci-fi/space related

  2. Very Nice Kevin!
A nice reminder to me of just why Dr Who was true "Hide behind the sofa" back in the day...it looks bloody scary even though it's not one of the aliens!
    Enjoy it! :)
