Japanese spaceship kits from Space Battleship Yamato 2199 and other anime/video games. Plus the new Revell Star Wars kits for this year. Also a new book on Airfix Toys (not the models) is on order but unfortunately it doesn't come out until January.
Nothing for this year really, but a couple of years ago I made sure that every collectable purchase I made via ebay was immediately put away in hiding by my wife and then I got to unwrap the lot of them on Christmas day. It was wonderful to have a Gerry Anderson christmas again but this time in the 21st century!
For me it would have be the 1930s, 1940s, and 1970s Batmobiles from Corgi. Oh yes, and the Corgi Batplane and Bat submersible. That would certainly make my Christmas awesome!

ReplyDeleteGood topic! A MARX army playset or some MICRONAUTS can really bring back memories...a toy or two at Christmas, even now: is required.
