Cartons, bread bags, card games: these are a few of my goodies from the batcave some years ago. The 1966 hanky I found in a box of tat in a charity shop. I've never blown my nose in it. The large Josman boxed Bat armour set I saw languishing on the clearance shelf at our local supermarket. It went straight in the shopping trolley! Everything else I got on Ebay, which is were they were all eventually sold on once again to grace somebody else's battic!
wow - I haven't seen any of this stuff before. thanx for posting
ReplyDeleteMy sentiments exactly. All of this is new to me. Fantastic!
ReplyDeleteMy Bat-craze phase started in my seventh year with my first wallet,a Batman & Robin wallet from my mom,and my prized possesion was my Mego Batcave playset w/Batman, Robin,Joker & Penguin.Superheroes were everywhere in those days, and all a kid needed was a sheet tucked into his collar to actually BECOME a superhero! I speak from experience of course!
ReplyDeleteA Mego Batcave? Wow, I'd give my left, ummmm, anyway, I'd really like to get one of those! LOL
