Nasa Probe Force 3 Take Off
I really do like the shape of the Probe Force 3 when looked at from above. If it existed in reality I imagine it would be a pretty powerful little grunter what with it being pretty much all engine.

ReplyDeleteGreat stuff, but I always wondered if those small wings could really support such a large fuselage!

It would depend on the weight of the fuselage and if it could also generate lift. Great photo by the way.

ReplyDeleteI know what you all mean about the wings being stubby but I think that helps with its unique and appealing shape. It 's the massive friction drive wheels that spoil things for me. It would have been nice to have had an undercarriage a little more realistic.
Oh, and by the way, Ed, if you see one of these landing at Nellis make sure we get a photo. ; D
