Woodsy, A follow up to Scoop's mention of Keith Watson. Here is the beginning of a strip he did for the New Thunderbirds Comic.
Apparently he was given stills from the film to work from and adapt to strip
cartoon. Best wishes, Andy B.
Smashing artwork, although I never bothered with the new Thunderbirds comic as it seemed to be a mix of reprints and artwork by fans who'd turned professional. (Not that that's a bad thing , its just that they had hard acts to follow) I just felt the comic was quite rightly aimed at a younger audience.
Ypu missed out big time - a lot of art was drawn by old TV21/Countdown hands like Keith Watson, Malcolm Stokes (the main Project SWORD annual artist!), John Cooper, with other art being handled by Steve Kyte (whose work is gorgeous), Mike White, Barrie Mitchell and Keith Page (who I confess not really liking). It may have been a mixed bag but there was little not to like.
