  1. GREAT ship designs! Very nice to see new (new to me) images & art of this style and era. Very cool & original story btw, the Colossus of Rhodes...fantastic.

  2. I found these on various internet sites. It's worth typing Ron Turner Space Ace into the search engine -there are several complete short strips on line. Apologies to the sites I found the images on, should have kept a record.
Also, some coloured Space Ace strips can be downloaded from themagicrobot.wordpress.com -look for Space Ace then go to "Book of Space Adventures" download.

    1. Andy, I just checked out themagicrobot blog and thought it was kinda cool. It always amazes me as to how many different, quirky takes there are on pop culture out there in cyber space.

  3. Apart from being a great and distinctive artist, Ron's design for the Jevon spacecraft in the TV21 Dalek strip became the Spacex Space Patrol 1 toy.

In the Power from Beyond , Ron bases the likeness of the character of Professor Sinjun on himself.

  5. Great artist. You can always tell it's his artwork. He worked on various Gerry Anderson annuals in the 60s, and even the New Eagle annuals of the 80s.
