Andy! That is super! I like in particular the lights on the Cruiser. Never thought of anything like that before, but that's how I will imagine them to be from now on. Thank you for adding a new detail for my favourite of all the vehicles.
The scene puts me in mind of a painting from the Chesley Bonestell and Willy Ley book, Conquest of Space. (Or perhaps I'm getting mixed up with the children's book, You Will Go to the Moon). Did you have either of those in mind when you put together your marvellous scene?
I still can't master the misty atmospheric effect of deep space you get andy. I do admire the way you use traditional media techniques in digital art though! Superb. Do you use the mouse or a graphics tablet and stylus. ?
Well done Andy! What a great pic. I love the glimpse of the Task Force interior! is that the Kellogs Space Station in the background?
ReplyDeleteYes, I'm too lazy to find another design to use. I suspect the Astronauts are about to connect the jump leads...
ReplyDeleteNice work Andy!

Thanks for all the kind comments. Didn't have anything in particular in mind; just found that picture of Earth and wondered what to do with it.
