I was thinking about an old TV programme I used to watch in the late 60's/ early 70's called Time Slip. It may have even be one word. I remember one kid actor having thick black plastic specs like I was to get a few years later. For the life of me I can't remember the plot[s]. Anyone recall it?
I think it was one word. There were two kids, a boy and a girl, who found a time hole at an old military base - a natural one, mind! The girl was named Elizabeth, and when they went through into a polar base in the future that is now, if you see what I mean, they met an older version of her who had grown up to be a scientist. They also went into the past, WWII, and met the yopunger version of an old man from the present (1970-odd) who, in another version of the same future, was the boss of the Ministry for Forward Development in a Britain ruled by the Technocracy. They also met a future version of the boy, Simon, who now called himself 2957, and a version of future-Elizabeth named Beth, who ran an unofficial sanctuary for refugees displaced the the Technocracy's schemes...Oh boy!

The Tomorrow People was more my cup of tea. Mike Noble did the comic strip in Look-in for that too. Busy guy!
It's really worth watching if you get the chance, Woodsy. One I loved as a child, and still do now.
