Woodsy, while out shopping in the city centre today I was passing Jamisons Models and when I saw the kit in the picture I had to jump in and get it right away!. This was a kit I had in my far distant younger days and although re-issued a few times since then I'd never managed to aquire a new one-until today that is. I had picked up the Revell 1/32nd scale Hurricane & Spitfire re-Issues last year but somehow missed that this was coming back out. So should you want one get it now.....no telling when we'll see it again!

ReplyDeleteI found a Revell Lunar Module kit complete with gold foil and paints in one of those big stores in New Year 2010, I had to buy it...it was only a couple of quid...sure they had priced it wrong.
Still to make mine up...I have a few on the go at the moment...hope you have fun with yours!

ReplyDeleteIf that's the 1/24th scale kit, some of its bits were used on the SHADO mobiles, and probably other Anderson things too. Its re-issue will be welcome to scratchbuilders.
ReplyDeleteeviled-Probably not! picked up a few cheap kits by that route (the Hurricane kit I mentioned was only £9.99). Toad-my scanner is playing up but if I can get it work I would be only to pleased to send a scan. in KevinD-yes indeed it is the 1/24th scale version as opposed to the 1/48th

ReplyDeleteDo you know if this is a brand new re release of the 1/24 kit or is this a re release from a few years back. Because I went on the Revell site but I find no mention of it.
