Following Toad's lead here are those pictures of the Moon Bus astrodome from SOLO, August 12th 1967. Like the Toadster says, you can just make out two back-to-back seats and the circular bank of instruments in the rear dome. But how did those SWORD boys and girls get in? What's it say in the Official Manual about it? Probably a strobe light.

ReplyDeletehavent got a manual to check, but the annual shows an airlock door on the side of the bus, as opposed to the ladder on the Solo version. Perhaps the airlock has a small crawlspace which allows access to the dome. Or maybe the seats tip forward in the cockpit like a Vauxhall Meriva and theres a connecting corridor behind them!

These have dissapeared on the actual toy aprt from the basic outline of windows.
