Right - another song then: Let's Go Crazy by Prince. Which Dutch radio station 3FM played this morning to mark the significant time of 11:11 on 11-11-11.
Where I should perhaps point out that 11 is the crazy fool's number (like 13 is the unlucky one) and that that was all they intended to celebrate.
The date has no particular significance in Holland because we Dutch gave WW1 a miss by staying neutral (although my granddad was mobilised and my grandmother assured me times were tough nonetheless). We therefore don't celebrate Armistice Day either. (Belgium does do so, which gave me a day off to spend in Holland where the shops were open etc). -- Paul
