This beautiful SpaceX Supply Force Mercury was photographed by puuikibeach on Flickr. It appears here with his kind permission. It forms part of a very attractive album of toys he's put together. There's also some truly wonderful shots of Sharks. Puuikibeach also has a project to take a location photo every day this year. Yesterday he was in Hawaii! I'm so jealous!

ReplyDeleteAs I'm sure you noticed, the Supply Force Mercury ship is missing the little rockets that belong in the wing nacelles. I have not completely given up hope of finding them around here somewhere, someday. The background in the photo is the original cardboard package from the toy.
I've been meaning to try this photo again. It would have been more dramatic were the spaceship trailing an exhaust plume. Plus, of course, it needs those nacelle rockets!
I'm afraid I will find myself whiling away hours on your fascinating site! Ah, such memories...!
