There's something very Probe Force 1 about the missiles in this ray gun set by Shimaden of Japan currently on Ebay. The character is described as "Ultraman Japanese Hero Magna". I suppose the inspiration for these missiles were Nikes? Lovely 1960's toy though.
Interesting. The two characters pictured there appear to be manga hero Uchuu Ace and Toei live action character Captain Ultra.
