CHANO, ATARI Artist on MOON PATROL

The other day I posted various peices of MOON PATROL arcade game box and console art. Their was an fascinating discussion in the comments by Jim and Shaqui about the similarity of one of the examples to Malcolm Stoke's style [one of the SWORD strips/ Annual artists]. The only information I have been able to find about any of the Moon Patrol art is that the Atari illustrator was one CHANO, who also illustrated Math Gran Prix (Atari), RealSports Soccer (Atari), SwordQuest: Earthworld (Atari), SwordQuest: FireWorld (Atari). I'm assuming that CHANO was the Atari box artist, rather than the game designer, so I have included here some of the other named game boxes for comparison with Moon Patrol.  To see the original source for this information check out Post 13 by Dragonstomper on the Atari Age forum dated 2001. You can clearly see CHANO's signature on the side of the Math Gran Prix and the year 82.
There is also this colour ad for Swordquest but it may not be by CHANO.
I'd love to know if Malcolm Stokes really did illustrate the Moon Patrol comic strip-style Ad! Hmmmm.
