CAIDIN COVERS

1966

1961

I just like these two covers of books by Martin Caidin. Please send me pics of your favourite Caidins.

Addendum:
Toad has kindly sent me the front and back of another Caidin book, Buck Rogers. Where have I seen that spacecraft before? A toy?

  1. I don't really have a favourite Caidin as such, but I'll send you the cover of the one novel by him that I have.

It's his version of Buck Rogers. I really, really wanted to like this, cos ... well ... y'know ... Buck Rogers! What more need be said? But Caidin's novel is turgid. I didn't finish it.

Has anyone read any of his other books? I'm wondering if this is typical of him?

Anyways .... pics on the way, Woodsy.

  2. For sentimental reasons, my favorite Caidin book cover is this:

But perhaps the book will seem a bit more familiar with this cover instead:

  3. P.S.: Who knew Buck Rogers flew an XRG-1 reentry glider? Man, I miss that one...

  5. Reminds me of the Monogram F19 Stealth Fighter model kit from the late 80s. http://www.ericksmodels.com/gallery/f19/f19.html
