This was fiddley. I tried to insert the Glider jpeg into the GIF with the moving earth but just couldn't do it without stopping the earth spinning! Is it possible? In the end I had to simply place the two pictures side by side.
I think you have to paste it into every frame of the gif, Woodsy. An animated gif is actually a string of images ... least that's how I understand it.Open it in something like Adobe ImageReady.
And if you shift the glider slightly in each frame, you could make it look as if it were travelling.
I'm impressed by the technical knowledge shown in this blog- I can just about manage a pencil sharpener...
I'm not allowed to use a pencil sharpener without adult supervision.
... which means I have to buy a whole new pencil each time!
